KBTC in the Community

KBTC is passionate about connecting with the community and offers a wide variety of opportunities to get involved. We host events throughout the year, such as movie screenings, lectures, and workshops. We also bring beloved PBS characters to life through appearances at local events. We also host relevant cultural spotlights, highlighting members of our community and the impact they have on the region. Through these events and activities, we strive to bring the community together to learn, engage, and explore.

KBTC Partners with organizations in the community

KBTC is committed to serving the Western Washington community. We partner with a variety of organizations, such as Bates Technical College, The Children's Museum of Tacoma, and Project Child Success. We also host a number of events throughout the year, such as PBS Play Dates, The KBTC Insight Speakers Series, and Champions for Children. These events and partnerships help us to connect with viewers and communities, and to provide educational, inspiring, and entertaining programming.

We believe that partnering with community organizations is essential to achieving our goal of providing educational, inspiring, and entertaining programming to viewers of all ages. We are grateful for the support of our partners, and we look forward to continuing to work with them in the future.

Thank you for your interest in KBTC!
